Everyone is enjoying the New Air Conditioning System in the Sanctuary.

least we are all happy that the elevator
between floors is now operational.

PANTRY
Alamo Heights Christian
Church is starting up its own Emergency Food Pantry for the needy. We need
your support by bringing cereal, peanut butter, canned and dried beans, canned
vegetables and fruit, spam and canned tuna fish.
Frankie Griffin will co-ordinate this project. Volunteers are needed.
Please see Frankie Griffin if You are able to assist.
The
Grace Class
Rev. Williamson has announced that the Grace Class began on August 3rd
a special devotional study based on the words of institution for Holy Communion
and on the book by Henri Nouwen
"Life of the Beloved, Spiritual Living in a Seculer World".
All are
invited to join with the Grace Class in this special devotional study.

From Your Choir Director
Music is in the air. Our last Gospel sing
was a great success and we had a lot of fun. Some
old songs and new songs were sung and were
enjoyed by all; the picnic following the service
was also a hit. And visiting with our new friends
was delightful.
It is September and now the fall season
starts. We have exciting things happening with
the music department. We are starting to thinks
about the holiday season coming up and getting
ready for the various services that we willing
enjoying at that time. We are always looking for
new faces in the choir loft and invite you to come
and audition us. The choir is always ready to
receive any one interested in singing from the
very young to the very it doesn’t matter age.
Also, I will be looking for all of you who
like to ring your bells and getting the hand bell
choir ready for the holidays. Please give me a call
and let me know if you are interested.
